Other than that, I’ve done a little tweaking to the site and done some cleaning. CharMar Online’s one year anniversary is coming up soon, so maybe I’ll plan something special for you all, if school doesn’t eat me alive in the next month. ♥

There’s also a new contest! Charlotte and her team are looking for new Official wallpapers for the site, so if you’ve got a designer bone in your body, why not enter something? I’ve sent in a submission, and when the contest ends I’ll post a few of the extras I made that didn’t fit the submission criteria. ;) And since the images provided are very HQ, I’ve added them to the gallery here.

Long time no update! Charlotte sent out a message today in her newsletter, along with a set of showtimes, and a new Erin Russell photoshoot! You can see the shoot by clicking the image above and logging into the CharMar Online gallery. Here’s the message from Charlotte. :)

Hello my dear friends,

I am so excited to see you this Fall. We are calling this little run of shows the “mad fast acoustic tour”.

My new album is still in the works but I couldn’t stay away from you until it’s finished and released. I wish I had the time to do a whole North American run this year, but then the album would never get finished! I’m about half way done with it and tackling the second half now.

In the meantime, I’m hoping these shows and videos of these shows will tide everyone over until the next big run of dates. Also, there will be a couple little surprises I’m releasing on this run…one of which is a project I’ve been working on since 2005 called ‘Piano Trees’. ‘Piano Trees’ is a collection of improv piano pieces that are totally unedited. I’m hoping it will inspire the artists in you and you’ll listen loudly on headphones while writing poetry, dancing, creating lyrics, painting, sculpting, taking photos, or doing something else that takes you to another plane. I hope it can accompany you on these journeys. It was created to be an artistic accompaniment. Now if someone is inspired to listen to it while drinking a Sanford Pinot Noir, then please invite me over.

Other than that, I’ve been doing some tweaks around the site. The music section has almost all of its lyrics uploaded, and just a few clean-ups here and there. There probably won’t be any other updates before the holidays, so, happy holidays and a wonderful (and safe) New Year!

The site is almost done, and just in time, because Charlotte has just released her Orphans EP! You can purchase it through Charlotte’s official store, Amazon, or iTunes. If you purchase it directly from Charlotte’s store, you have a choice between the hard copy or the digital version. The digital version comes with two bonus PDFs. One of which contains the album artwork, and the other showcases the winner/finalists of the “Design the Orphans Cover Contest.” Please support Charlotte and buy it.

Charlotte also has two upcoming shows scheduled. I would love to attend the Los Angeles showing, but sadly The Hotel Cafe is a 21+ club and my twenty-first birthday isn’t until late April of 2009. Cry.
